Here is a short video showing the process of my frame rebuild of a 1975 bricklin SV-1

Starts with a rusty dirty frame to a clean frame back from the sandblaster, to primer, then paint, and finally with the engine installed

  • Shame Bricklin used one of the crummiest front suspensions made, I hate that design that intrudes on the engine bay so badly. Coils over the upper a-arm were a fad with Rambler, Nova had it and so did Ford, which is what this thing is, a Falcon/Mustang parts bin purchase. While the rear live axle with leafs isn't real high zoot either at least it's a tried and true design. I have a feeling everyone lost money on this kit car except Bricklin.

  • Right on ! that was dope. Classic Canadian car. The only car we ever did somewhat properly. Good job, this dude must be spendin some good time on this. Restoring this would be fun though, still.
