  • If he did,I am going by what I understand.Like I said,I haven't read that comic.Like I stated,the hammer is what makes Thor powerful.

  • @scadams13 read ragnarok: a hammer is but a tool, even Mjolnir. Thor is a god, the power is within him

  • By the way, haven't read it but read when facing Onslaught Thors' hammer couldn't dent, but an angry Hulk cracked it.Again,it's all in the storyline.

  • @scadams13 thor cracked onslaught's armor

  • @Piglatinsuperstar U forgot to mention Thor was wounded before his encounter with the Silver Surfer. And yet Silver Surfer couldn't bring down a wounded Thor.So Thor was handicapped in his fight with Silver Surfer.Thor also caused a big headache to Galactus when he did a speedblitz. The same speedblitz he did against Glory(a being with the power of 10,000 Gods and amped by the Chaos King).

  • @Piglatinsuperstar whats this nonesense? Its Galactus. Thor hurt him. Period.

Without Mjolnir Thor still has control over the storm, the godblast, super strength, super speed (to a point), and is the most durable of the heralds.

  • @RobertMfromLI I have Thor asks Odin precisely , what you are pointing out but he doesnt answer Thor s question, it could be scheming, or maybe he wanted to lift his son s ego. In any case beta Ray Bill won, the rest is just interpretations.

  • @RobertMfromLI yeah i know rulk only won cuz some guy at marvel kept saying how Rulk was so powerful

  • @HeavyWeaponsGuy1963 The midgard serpent is often shrouded in illusion and WAS at it's current massive size. Hence, in the Simonsen arc, he first appeared as Fin-Fang-Foom, and in the iss with Utgard-Loki, he appeared as a cat (and THAT was the time he almost destroyed the "nine worlds" - which in reality, are THE UNIVERSE ITSELF). He was STOPPED by Utgard-Loki before he tried using more of his strength to lift the "cat" for fear Thor would manage to destroy the "nine worlds" with such a feat.

  • @HeavyWeaponsGuy1963 Thor has had more impressive feats than that actually. Because you don't believe it, doesn't mean it didn't happen - and it did. But "nine planets" that he almost destroyed, was "the nine worlds" - or rather, the universe. Read the myths of Jorgumand... they are in both myth and comic form.

  • @TheVetoSkreeemer It is the story you read. And exactly as it is in the comics I own. Re-read them yourself. Odin intentionally set Thor up to be defeated in such a fashion - more of his scheming.

  • @EyeS2pify On top of all of that, in a Skrull war thingy, when BRB was beat senseless by the genetic abomination of theirs, BRB starts laughing like an insane man, because Thor is on his way, and per BRB's on words, BRB is only a pale imitation, and the creature has NO chance against the real thing.

True to BRB's word, Thor doesn't have a problem at all.

  • @joejoe45ful Actually, Thor was taken by surprise, NOT KO'd (not even phased actually), and THEN the Rulk made a hasty retreat before Thor could attack back. I own that comic. Thor made a mockery of him in the very next issue.

  • @joejoe45ful Actually, he killed Hulk by snapping his neck once, killed hulk in a battle against 3 other heros (4 on one) *without* Mjolnir, and has beaten the piss out of red, green and grey hulk multiple times. When he chooses to not hold back. Which is rare. He almost always holds back - especially against those he's called ally or friend in the past.

  • @ucwwcu Old Wizard disagrees, and spells it out. Remember the Infinity Gauntlet, and the Power Gem? Thor beat Drax the Destroyer WHILE Drax had the power gem, AFTER decimating Beta Ray Bill *AND* Surfer - and then took the power gem for his own.

He's went toe to toe with the Celestials and had better showings than virtually anyone. He is SO powerful that he even gained an audience with Eternity itself. And he hasn't even begun to tap into the power/strength that is his birthright from his mom.

  • @hydrolito Yes, he nearly lifted the Midgard Serpent, which is a feat of impossible stature. He was stopped before he destroyed everything. This story is both a part of the myth and the comicbooks. In the myths (and some comics) the serpent has grown so large he encircles the world tree that contains "the universe" - which he would've destroyed with such a feat.

In one comic, he beat Drax the Destroyer WHILE Drax was wearing the power gem from the Infinity Gauntlet - THAT'S how powerful he is
