OK, now there are famously bad consoles, handhelds, computers, that are well known and seem to be brought up constantly (CDi bad games / Virtua Boy hard on eyesight / Jaguar poor support / 3DO expensive etc) now fanboyism aside, personally I believe every one of these and all the rest no matter how bad served a purpose whether it was a
niche need or simply teaching others what NOT to do lol! Wit this in mind I would like you to name a system that many people "hate" on or maybe just that is not a personal favorite and name at least one good point (OR MORE) about this system!

RULE: THE ONLY RULE HERE IS THE EXCLUSION OF THE MODERN PC AND MAC PLATFORMS! I WOULD PREFER THIS NOT TURN INTO A MAC/PC DEBATE THREAD THANKS! ;)

OK I will start:

My choice 3DO: Known mostly for it's high price point at launch and some of the worst games ever "Plumber's don't Wear Ties" anyone? One thing that I loved about the system was the quality of FMV (FULL MOTION VIDEO) games right out of the box, love them or hate them games that utilized FMV for
gameplay or even cutscenes looked pretty damn good on the 3DO right out of the box where the CDi required a FMV/MPEG cartridge to achieve similar quality and the SegaCD FMV just looked horrid the #DO FMV rocked
and I admit a fondness for FMV games if only in a campy B-moive type way I saw FMV as an interesting use for a growing multi-media platform and I really enjoy them on the 3DO.
