Mark has a tremendous voice, He used to get standing ovations in NYC after doing Bring Him Home. His album of Broadway standards is also wonderful. It's nice to hear him on here.

If you get a chance of see Mark perform, go he is one of the best.

@thisnthat7 I saw him perform this role today in Seattle. I wish I'd known he was in the cast before I went. I saw him perform a Broadway program with the Seattle Symphony 10 or 11 years ago, didn't know who he was, and was so blown away by him I bought his CD that night (something I'd never done before). He was absolutely outstanding as JV in this production. Go to see it if at all possible.

Mark's portrayal of Valjean is amazing. I saw him in Washington, DC back in the late 80's. Absolutely STUNNING portrayal. Gives me chills to hear him sing. We were on our feet before he finished this song. How I would love to see him again!

He sounds the same everytime he sings this!!! I met him and he sang this at my theatre camp, he sounds exactly the same here and when i heard it live. Props to him for consistency.

Mark is the QUINTESSENTIAL Jean Val Jean . We can only hope he will be cast in many more roles on Broadway; what a major talent and fine human being !!!
