It's where you basically appear when you start the game and when you die. You can put them down in forge, they're called 'respawn points' but people call it their 'spawn' when they are in the area of which the enemy respawns

I think that the ghost appear when is a big map because when i was playing i do a big map and then i put an scorpion before the scorpion move alone and then it kill me but i was playing alone

Dudes, the ghost is real, it happens only through Xbox live connection and it is really annoying.

If it's overload, the whole map would lag. Everything is running smoothly here, and it's following the basic behavior of a ghost in halo. It moves, yet it has no moving animation, it can shoot, melee, and throw grenades in any direction without moving, and it's hostile when provoked.
