I will be done on the eve of this coming wednesday.....just did my last injection today to support a couple last days. Thanks for being an inspiration for me as well Carlos!!! • Thank you thank you for your video. It is so great to hear from you again. You are an amazing person. I hope when I do this treatment I will be as strong as you are. I have two young kids so it will be hard but I really want to do it. My kids both got tested and were negative so that was awesome. Thanks so much for sharing you story. It is just amazing how the body works.

  • @TheTurkeyHunter24 Thanks for being part of my journey. When you take this plunge you will develop and tap into strength you did not realize you had......even when it sucks...and you will walk away a much different person. I wish you all the best and most of all I hope to hear of your own cure. I did my last injection today and will be done on wednesday eve. WHEW!!!! I will post on post recovery which is my next dream come true!

  • @HepCJourney Hey Diana. CONGRATULATIONS to both of you. You must both feel abundant relief! I am feeling a bit more like my old self. I still feel just a bit of anemia at times with a little pounding heart but less all the time. Our family just got back from 5 days in the mountains. It was terrific! We walked everyday in the snow up forest roads, went eagle chasing, ate great food and read a lot in front of the fire while it SNOWED and SNOWED. Thanks for keeping in touch. Happy New Year. XO

  • @anaisabel365 Happy New Year, Ana! Just wanted to update you on our situation. My fiance's doc is so pleased with his progress that he agreed to a 36-wk cutoff instead of the 48-wks. We're both very pleased. He's feeling better since the telepravir is now beginning to leave his system & his doc is so thrilled with everything that he's called my guy "the poster boy" for this treatment! So far so good, this new year! Hope you're still going strong, girl. XO --Diana

  • @anaisabel365 Happy New Year! Thanks for those words, but the real heroes are people like my fiance & you! To be honest, I'm at the point where I need the anti-depressants! I think your husband would agree with me when I say that the spouses/significant others have quite a difficult time on this treatment as well. Not as bad as the patient, but hard enough. But you're right: what choice do we have? I believe 2012 will bring health, happiness & prosperity to us all.XO --Diana

  • @anaisabel365 Ana, Congratulations on completing your treatment! Thanks for your encouragement; walking into the fire imagery makes me feel a bit like a phoenix. I am building my support group and toying around with the idea of making my own hep c blog. You are rising from the ashes, happy and speedy recovery! Keep us all posted in the new year. Amy

  • @amymarlene8 All the best to you as you approach your journey. it was very stressful to take the first plunge. You do not have to be brave just walk right into this fire and you will endure, building your own courage and strength along the way. Please build your support system for you list. Today was my last injection to support just a couple last days. Wednesday eve I am done. When it is difficult scream, take care and it will pass.

    You will be cured!!!!

  • @HepCJourney Merry Christmas. I did my last injection today and that only has to support a few days. Wednesday eve I will be done. Your fiance Diana is now a hero because if my dr. pushed me out to 48 weeks it would include anti-depressants.....but what choice do we have. I will be thrilled to hear that the two of you have this behind you. You as well are a hero!!!! Without my husband and the care he gave me emotionally and physically things would have been different. Your a good woman Diana. XO

  • Ana! Thank YOU for sharing your experience! Documenting your highs & lows helps all of us & I'm so happy for you to be done with the treatment. My fiance & I are glad you'll be continuing your updates. Your symptoms and ups & downs sound just like his (although he's on telepravir as opposed to your bocepravir). His doc is pushing him out to 48 wks, but he's okay with that if it's going to up his chances of sustained viral response. Happy Christmas & A Health New Year! XO --Diana
