I would say that Pittsburgh is one of the more... not exactly nice, but accepting cities that I've ever been to. Our Pridefest is fucking huge; quite literally, almost every person I know goes. I am openly bi, and I have not met very many people that AREN'T ok with that. Even one of the assholes I know told me that he could respect how comfortable and open I was about my sexuality. The homophobes are far and few in between. I have been all over the world, but nowhere is as accepting as home.

Contrary to popular belief, I found the majority of people in small towns to be mean. They are nice to your face, but they talk smack all day, and gossip is a sport you play whether you know it or not... i prefer a big, cruel city, where people are at least too busy to be fake, and the nice people you meet are genuinely nice.
