A documentary about courage and triumph in the face of adversity. Jean Jacques Machado, born without a functioning left hand, overcomes all challenges to become one of the world's greatest hand-to-hand combat grapplers. This is the legendary story of a world champion.

  • Ok, Bilksta. Yes, Matt Hamill is definitely at a disadvantage against his opponents bcuz he is def. He does great, and is an inspiration to many. But he is not comparable to Jean Jacques. J.J. Machado is PHYSICALLY disabled. Also, this man is the many time WORLD champion of BJJ (10+), and also adcc champion as well. Matt Hamill Has achieved a lot for sure...but he is no Jean Jacques Machado. This man is a hero to all, cousin to the gracie family, 1 of the top 2 best bjj black belts ever!

  • I just found my favorite BJJ guy. I love Jacare, Marcelo, all of the Gracies, but this guy has clinched it for me. Doing all he does one handed is fucking unreal.

  • Hey anybody know where i can download this film from ?

  • It's hard not to get a little emotional when watching this. Jean Jacques Machado is the the definition of determination.

  • i never knew that about machado.

  • very inspirational

  • one of the best bjj artist in the world

  • i agree with you!!!!!

  • I know Carlos Machado and I've trained with Rigan and the Machado family is one of a kind. I hope to someday train with JJ Machado, that would be an awesome experience. Those who have trained with JJ Machado, I really do envy you guys!

  • JJ is a great guy. went to a free lesson at his place when I was in the valley. Really cool, so were the guys I rolled with. I trained with a Royce Gracie black belt who took my money for a six month period but basically gave me no respect because I had trained in karate so I stopped going. Guys like Jean Jacques are rare. I suggest anyone who has a chance to train with him do so.
