Thanks Ben as you watch me from above. Permit me to offer my thought for we mortals who are but pale imitations of you and the video. Guys put this in your head: "HANDS WAIT" Yep. Simple as that. It came to me in a vision while on the range one day. Not technical enough? As the hands wait, the lower body is unwinding just like our buddy Ben is showing us here. 2nd piece of advice: Get and read Seven Days at the Links of Utopia by David Cook. Trust me guys.
I broke 80 with a 79 at Cog Hill #1. In the dark. I putted very well. But, also, my tee shots were very good. Didn't have much trouble to negociate. Although, too, you need good trouble shots to succeed in shooting low scores. Most of all it's the 6 inch game! LOL Between the ears! Learn to empty your mind when you swing! Forget THINKING! Have a small move that turns thinking off. Mine is in my lower leg!
Don't try to replicate Ben Hogan's swing. In all likelyhood, he is MUCH shorter than you are. Even if you are a junior player. PAY ATTENTION TO HIS MESSAGE! The downswing NEVER starts with the arms, hands or even shoulders. The downswing starts with your hips!
PSSSSS - Putting is a WHOLE different ball game. And I do mean a different game. Don't treat the two parts as similar. They are not. Think of putting as you would a game of pool. Only difference is what and how you strike the ball into the hole.
OK, I apologize for taking up so much space! Again, THIS IS BEN HOGAN!!!
PSSS - If you plan on breaking 80 or trying your best, get your putter in order. But, this is after you get your driver and your iron game in order.
PSSSS - They say, "drive for show, putt for dough.".....Guess what? You aint gonna be putting for no dough unless you can drive for show. Understand that distance is the key to shooting low scores.

Ummmm, this is Ben Hogan. Please pay attention. :)
PS - The secret is understanding your OWN swing! I'm sure, Ben Hogan would agree!
PSS - Why in the WORLD are there only 6.5K views on this? OK, almost 7K. There should be one view per golfer in the world who has internet access.
