@jymbo1969 Faith goes against human nature. That is what Christianity is all about, a different type of life lived for a greater purpose; loving God and loving others. That's what it's all about.

All I lose is a bit of dignity if you are right: god would know that my disbelief is completely natural, and rational, considering the research and study I conduct. Belief is not a choice: therefore the bible is wrong... again.

Sorry, that argument fails: Since Islam is the largest religion, it follows that it is the true religion (assuming god exsts)... what are you going to say to Allah when you stand before him? Or Zeus? Or Mithras? ... Why should I believe in that which is unevidenced? And more importantly, how could I? I was a true chrisitan, just like you... but then I chhecked to see if my beliefs were true; they were not.. just as yours are untrue.

While it would seem impossible for either or us to shake the other on the current belief system being utilized, it is worth noting that If YOU are correct, I have absolutely nothing to loose by living the life of a christian. IF I am right, you will be in big trouble when dying time comes. So here again, your position in life is not only very risky, but down right stupid. I will give you the last word.

It is instead a gaining of understanding. If your position was so good, why would you need to lie? You call me ignorant, yet you can't even demonstrate your holy spook even exists.
