Puppetista Protest March SOA 2008 (part 1 of 4)

After the Puppetista demonstration, the puppetistas started marching away from the gate and the stage toward the rest of the protest grounds, followed by other protesters from the surrounding crowd.

I think that this video really captured the spirit of the puppetistas and the march that followed! I had a great time marching up the road. It really felt like the people were holding the power. I had a great time! Since I'm a minor, I;m not quite sure what would happen if I decided to go over the fence, but I'm thinking about civil disobedience this spring in Tennessee. In Oak Ridge TN there is a full-scale, operating, nuclear weapons plant that is protested. I can't wait for part 2!

it was a great protest it was amazing to be in the streets and having so many people walking down the main road it was crazy! i really wanted to cross the line but we really needed to get back to school. but really all the people that were in the street were actually breaking the law but there were so many we couldnt all be arrested. if everyone realized that we could have done the same for the fence it could have really made a difference! This is what democracy looks like!

That was a way fun weekend and def some great protesting work. Pupitistas are always awesome! I was a tree. :) After this video we went into the streets!
