lee, a suggestion, have the local welder make up a ssimple toe guard to mount on the weelchair foot holder, keep you from banging into the dresser with your foot that has injury.
regular beds ain't all as bad as you would lead peoples conclusions too

I feel for this lady but it brings up the larger issue. She is paying the price for a lack of government standards enforcement in the USA. We cry socialism or food police if our State tells us we should not sell soda at grade schools or that we should eat more of a plant based diet. Yet when this lady suffers due to lifestyle making her health problems even worse there is no way to get a new chair! She needs to go to the younger people and tell them that this is avoidable.

It's okay to bitch when someone else has to pay the bill for you. How much of these problems were caused by bad decisions and poor life-style choices? people need to not complain and be grateful for what others can give them when they can't help themselves. Nice place, nicer than mine. I work over 100 hours a week sometimes just so I can live in a crappy old trailer house.
