nice demo man! Im torn between the rat and the OCD! Which one would you say has a fatter more full sound with the most clarity?? Your answer would be greatly appreciated as I can't fully tell from not being able to listen to them in the same room!

thank you! very good demo

Great sounding vid, you have convinced me to get a Rust Driver!
-
quite an awesome comparison! Probably the best RAT sound I've heard on YouTube thus far...that Rust Driver is one incredible piece of kit too!
I'm a proud OCD v4 owner...that pedal is solidly built for live use, has a HUGE amount of vol control and is wonderful to stack with TS9's/ RAT's/Blues Driver..
the HAO is now on my OD shopping list though!! keep em coming bro!

Hey man, you accidentally left the self-deprecation on

which version is the ocd?
-
Roast Driver does sound better on the high end, but if ur going for that sound u might as well use a distortion pedal no?
-
which is the closest to the Plexi sound? Which is easiest to use? thanks.

hi i really like your demo and playing! i have a question about the rat, i use a american deluxe hss fender strat with a hot rod dlx, im looking for a good versatile pedal i've heard abou the rat being a kinda mix of overdrive/distortion, id really like the dist part that you showed here, but how much OD sound can you get from that Rat?? i want something versatile, yet aggressive. TNKS!

Again...it's a taste thing. The RAT is kind of 'Old School'. It does a tasty gritty boost with a particular RAT flavor.( my pref: Volume at 2:00, Dist at 9:00...Tone, rolled way down...) But there are plenty of new overdrives around that will do boost with more variety. The key is that you like it's distortion tone...so that if the boost is not to your taste, the distortion is still worth the price of admission.

Okay so check this out. Let the demo load fully, then listen to the RAT at 1:16~ then click forward to the OCD at 5:13. That's real close...

yup...I set them up to be as close as possible. But it's the 'transparency' that is different. The mid range rip occurs with much more dynamic change and control with the OCD...meaning each hit of the string will change the pedal response slightly. The RAT just rips away with a flat, aggressive response. And that's usually where the line is drawn...RAT=more aggresion, OCD=more subtlety. They both rock.
