ok lets start with its the largest youth event in the world, so what else could be called world youth day?
and unless all christians are youth then... it cant really just be a celebration on the christian faith right? its more than that its a coming together of people
i find people coming together with good intentions either for religious reasons or not is a great thing.
ha ha you make it sound easy to make such a large global event for youth that could compare to the scale of WYD.

why is it called "world youth day" when it's merely a celebration of the christian faith? doesn't sound very wordly to me. they claim in the video melbourne is home to many faiths, which is true, but it's also home to a growing number of people who have no faith, as is all of australia. some surveys show that up to 50% of australia's youth are irreligious. i wonder what christians would do if secularists decided to hold a similarly titled event, and recieved funding from the federal government..

I pray to all who attended and all still young in the faith, to open thereselves to the Pure Light of WHO AM, and i stronly encourage them to read the books of early and medieval Saints and Fathers. Feed yourselves the good satisfying food. One day you will know by the Spirit that you needent travel miles to see the steward of Christ or Mary the Queen, but Jesus the King you may see any day in the Holy Eucharist.
