  • I am a firefighter. do you think this knife can hold up to the stress?

  • @timberland1108 absolutely, this and my strider SNG are hands down the toughest blades i own, i actually carry this knife every day just because of how tough and reliable it is. and at its price point if you manage to loose it, its not the end of the world.

    Thank you,

    Danny

  • Hey danngree, I got the ZT 0350 today, it came with a ziplock baggie with a small metal curved bar in it. Do you know what its for?

  • @ConditionRedDawn it is the tortion bar that makes the knive assisted opening. when i bought mine the bar was already installed. so it is possible that it is either a spare bar or your was not installed.

    Hope this helps,

    Danny

  • Nice review -

Is this knife an auto opening knife or an assisted opening like the SOG folders?

  • Thank you, it is an assisted opening knife like a SOG flash. it has a flipper on the back as well as a large thumb stud for deployment.

  • the spring inside of the handle broke on my 0301 booooooooo boooooooooo i dont think its as strong as it feels anymore

  • @jballs3 Ah you might be screwed. . if it is new call zero tolerance. . all they can say is no. . actually they really didnt ask questions. .. just say its really hard to open.

  • @Ccoach55

I didnt get it from amazon. got if off some site for only 88 bucks, Ill have to check with them and see if they take defect returns. thats a pretty crazy defect.

  • @jballs3 Yes mine was a defect. I had to send it in and they fixed it. . They had quite a few defect ones. I would send it off if i was you. . They felt so bad they sent me a T-shirt and a leek. . i was stoked. . and a tension tool. . send it off man they will take care of it and you.

  • @Ccoach55

not a defect, I just got mine to and its very hard to open with the index finger and I also cannot flip it open with the thumb stud. Im thinking it may be just cause its new and am going to give it some time. I would love to know if there is a way to make it a bit easier faster though.

  • Have you opened up any of the speed safe knives? I've carried my 350 for a while but a recent training event has the opening sluggish and sounding gritty with sand- I've tried using my air compressor and gun oil to clean the innards because I'm hesitant to open it up and have god only knows what springs fly out and me not get it put back together-

  • i just picked on up from amazon and i can not open the blade using the thumb stud. . also its causes pain in my index finger to open the knife because i have to push soo hard. factory defict?

  • did you weigh it yourself? A higher weight has been reported
