  • How long did you have to practice that voice to sound like you smoke 5 packs a day?

  • @Svperstarr LOL, well about the time I started on the 4th pack a day I had it down....naw, it's more of a combination of just naturally having a deep voice, smoking and vocal cord damage from being a drill sargent in the Army...just happens, no practice necessary! :)

  • Very nice video. You seem extremely honest and caring.

  • @TheEscapedBalloon Because in butch women historically have had to fight to be recognized as female. Butch women wanted to be respected as women, even if they chose to traditionally masculine traits: short hair, certain jobs, men's clothing, etc.

When trans-men equate those things with being born wrong (i.e., "I knew I was a boy because I liked football and hating wearing dresses.") that undermines butches wanting to be seen as women.

  • OhMaiGawd I love you (:

  • *huge hugs*

This video totally made me subscribe!

Your amazing and I hope you keep posting! We need more butches 2 share online!

I've been on T for 5yrs- but I didn't do this to be a guy. I did it b/c I want to be me. Hairy, butch, flat chest, & loving it!

I wish women WLD see me as a butch lesbian, but the man-stache gets in the way :P

I admire butch lesbians so much, I wouldnt have transitioned if I could have dealt w/ being a woman. I love being female but being woman was not fun.. *hearts*

  • You, my dear are AWESOME! I wish more lesbians were as understanding as you. It would make my life soooooo much easier. :-)

  • Hi MainelyButch; I'm a Male to Female Transsexual and I see a lot of transphobia and just plain lack of understanding from the one group I assumed would be the most understanding, LBGT. If seems a lot of CIS gender people in LBGT tend to think we transgender / transsexuals are confused homosexuals, the fail to realize because of the lack of education within LBGT that gender identity is independant of sexual orientation. As an example I'm lesbian, and I know transmen who are gay men.

  • Dude, you're brave. Thanks so much for being openminded and for being a bridge. I'm a black (trans)man and I LOVE butches & am blessed that all my peeps support me thru my transition. You're right to point out that both groups go thru shit and have a lot of misunderstanding b/t them. More folks like you can change that though. Hats off to you bro...

  • I am a soft butch and I love you're video

  • I used to think that trans folk were brave for transitioning; I do not think this anymore. The way I see it, is that trans folk are simply doing what they feel they HAVE to do in order to stay sane. To take hormones/get surgery to get as close to the gender they feel they should have been born as, to look and feel that gender.

  • Can you explain further, why you think that there is an underlying "threat" to to butch women by FTM's?

    Enjoyed your video.
