This video appeals to me.Silas crocker is ruthless.But Nola better watch out or she may die at his grip before seeing Quinton again.But we all know that won't happen.

You know, you hit it on the head. I don't know if Iva not clicking anywhere as well as Nola did was because the character felt too old (Lisa played them, what, 5 years apart and Nola was a 22 year old or so and Iva was 30's, though she felt 40). And it was too bad they brought Nola back so badly late 90's--clicking those stupid chimes and wearing scarves and crap. Nola was a REVA, she wasn't window dressing. Even Maeve K had to fight to keep Vanessa relevant. Wish Iva had been stronger...

Benjamin H was a troubled guy. The last couple years on ATWT he had replacements once in awhile, or quit for awhile. He was on less regularly. Then, he committed suicide--I think that's what happened. He was a brilliant actor and al three roles (Chris Parnell on Texas, Silas Crocker on GL and, esp, Hal Munson on ATWT, were fun to watch. He, like Larry Bryggman, Eric Braeden, Tony Geary, raise the industry and not just because they're not model handsome. They're real, and act without effort.

i stopped watching the soaps for a few years, and i recently discovered the flashbacks on youtube. what happened to benjamin hendrickson when i seen the name hal is the first one i thought of from atwt which are my all time faves.

Oh, no, Nola was definitely LB's most important and quintessential character. Iva was on the coat tails of Nola and not even a fraction as good
