Chris Elsworthy First appearance on QVC UK with the POWER8 workshop lite. This First Showing sold out before the end of the show. Co presenter Julian Ballanty loved the product and though that it was the most innovative product he had ever seen at QVC.

  • We are working on the Li-ion POWERhandle now, it will bring a few new functions to the existing product heads and be backward compactable with everything apart from the charger. We are work on a upgrade package for customer who want to upgrade their existing sets. the Li version will be 3Ah, so will last longer, still 18v and be lighter for longer use in comfort. the 2.6Ah Ni-Mh POWERhandles perform much the same but are heavier and suffer a little from memory affect, although better than Ni-Cd.

  • YO Chris can you make this with lithium batteries instead... technology has moved on... i so wanna buy this but with LITHIUM technology.

  • Hi, a li-ion version may come in the future but at present the cost of these battery would hike the price of the set out of most consumers reach. We do a set no with 2.6Ah Ni-Mh POWERhandle which in my opinion offer a very good alternative.

    Cheers Chris

  • @CELglobal Are you a multi millionaire yet?

  • I see your using the li-ion batteries in the mini-screwdriver & trimmer, coming to the tools soon, maybe offer a discrete option? ha ...... In laymen terms how long does your best 2.6 batteries last vs. lithium ?... I still want your product but would be nice to have that lithium level or just simply know when the release time will be so I can buy accordingly!!
