  • @discoghettotek,

I can't believe you see this great little video and it inspires you to pull out the race card. I believe the location was chosen for the distinct architecture, all saved by proud homeowners of all colours and income levels. Its a vibrant, multicultural neighbourhood now, no longer a slum run by absentee landlords. As for the dancers, there was an open casting call on facebook, and they used the people that showed up. If it bothers you, you need to rethink things.

So you are saying this Indie Folk Pop song isn't black enough for you?

  • you've done us well jenn grant

    we'd like more

  • in a lot of her videos, she has a bunch of people dancing in the background

  • she is my hero

  • The song is "cool"........the video is great. Love the "hood"; it's HOME to me. Very uplifting and inspiring to see parts of my old area in a delightful presentation.

  • so good

  • "I think this video fails to be inclusive and representative."

And I think your comment reeks of fail.

It's attitudes like this that create trouble where none exists.. and guarantees that people with continue to bitch and moan about race and ethnicity for the rest of time.

Just a happy little song and video that makes people smile.. so naturally there's people counting the colour of the people in the video??

    *eyeroll*

    That's just sad.

  • Heard it on Rookie Blue and sought it out

  • where has this been hiding
