The purpose of this film is to transmit the message, and to share the authors point of view, which celebrate and elucidate the most important values, which interior design education and practice should worship. The main beliefs, presented in this film, are deeply embedded in Rudolf Arnheims great work The Dynamics of Architectural Form (1975). The film is dealing with the value issues of the interior design profession. In the film the main character is a woman, an interior design professional, who at the same time embodies the whole interior design discipline. The viewer is intentionally exposed to the womans (professions) mind: questions, considerations, consternations, fears, hopes. One is able to notice questions, ideas and on the end a possible answer. The final answer is, at the same time, a question. It is created in such a way to leave the viewer space for the inquiry and for the development of own thoughts on the present issue. The film deals with thematic elements of essential human needs, technological development, esthetical and functional elements of the interior space. Often surreal and brutal imagery are there to evoke feeling and engender the viewers imagination. The material for this film was made in Greece, Italy, Austria, Switzerland, and the United States of America. This film also represents a multicultural and international collaboration between people from Serbia, Germany, South Korea and the USA. In conclusion, the film is there to represent interior design problematics to people outside of the profession and to designate a framework for interior design educators and professionals to use.
