Catalinbread Dirty Little Secret Revision 2 PCB switch demo

In this video we are highlighting the differences between the modes on the DLS Revision 2.

First mode is the original mode and permits for delicate parts to be played with a more subdued mid range. This mode likes to be stacked with treble boosters and fuzz. It is akin to late 60s era amps that had a bright cap less than 200pF.

Second mode is the the NEW mode which is ALSO a late 60s era tradition of a bright cap value of 5000pF. It allows for a more aggressive mid range crunch! Folks will experience mixed results running their fuzz and treble boosters into this mode. This mode is more of a stand alone setting.

Good thing it isn't a "switch pot" then.

The switch only does something when the gain is lowish. And where folks set it will depend on taste almost more than situation. So in order to keep the pedal affordable we keep it as simple as possible.
