Collaborative Visualization in Virtual Worlds

Virtual worlds are powerful tools for connecting groups of people.  At 2007 IDF, Intel and Qwaq, Inc. announced a development partnership on enterprise collaboration, combining Intel's Miramar 3D desktop and Qwaq Forums into a new, virtual collaboration environment, thus enabling groups of people to connect with groups of documents.  Now, Intel and Qwaq are bringing 3D visualizations into the mix, enabling visual analytics usage models within a collaborative work environment, thus connecting groups of people with large amounts of complex information for collaborative sense-making and understanding.To learn more about this visit: www.intel.com/research or www.qwaq.com
