Origami: ツインケース いそべ巻き
Designed By: Ayako Kawate
Made by: Heather
----------
Today's origami lesson is five hundred and seventy in the series. Today we will take a moment to do a few things for New Year's. This origami makes a toasted rice cake with a strip of sea weed wrapped around it - which is a popular food for the holiday. You can also use this as a box and make many and have them stack on top of each other.

  • Where can I find origami paper or what sizes can I cut other paper to make this stuff?

  • @brokenpofu You can use any paper. Just cut it to be a square. My paper is 15 x 15 cm. If you want origami paper I would try a craft store like Michaels or Hobby Lobby. The internet has a lot too, like through Amazon. Thanks for watching!

  • where do you position your camera?

  • @AwesomeG101 I have an old Japanese screen that I have cut a hole in. I then lay this across two chairs and sit underneath with my iPad laying on top of the screen above me. Thanks for watching!

  • do you really think kids can do this complicated stuff and no adults really can do origami please do easier stuff

  • @steph5415 I am going to be doing much easier things for the month of January.

  • @snowflower1000 I am from the States, Colorado to be exact. I moved to Japan because I met my husband who is Japanese while we were in college. We met on AOL if you can believe it!

  • @phonaphobia It has taken a while. When I started out I had very few views because there are also so many other talented YouTube origami folks out there. I kept doing something new ever day and now I am very lucky to have lots of people who watch. Thanks to everyone!
