I don't know if I would have the guts to do what Daniel did. Fortunately, even in Berkeley, Israel is still pretty popular. The Anti-Israel groups are typically louder (and more obnoxious), but you can see that the Pro-Israel groups are much larger and don't need to scream profanities and instead try to facilitate discussion and share information.
Tikvah's pamphlets and debate are better than SJP's poetry slams (seriously, what the hell are you suppose to be proving?) and harassment.

Forget all the propaganda. Compare on the basics.
HAMAS/PLO - Theocracies. Lead by self appointed religious leaders not responsible to the people. Sharia law - dark ages ideals. NO Social/Economic/Sexual/Religious freedom. Woman and non-Muslims as second class. Anti-progress superstition based.
Israel - Democracy. Universal Sufferage. Rule of Law - Elightenment Ideals. Social/Economic/Sexual/Religious freedom. All people equal under the law. Pro-Progress science based
