Go on and read "To the Bitter End" by Hans Bernd Gisevius and you will see why Stauffenberg wanted to eliminate Hitler.
And stop spouting nonesense on YT.

@Canaris3 You know shit about the entire story, stauffenberg had plans to end this thing back in 1942. Go back to school and learn some real history, and for your information I am not a man, so f yourself

Bullshiit man.
Stauffenberg acted only after realising that the "Glorious Third Reich" will lose this war. He didn't cared when polish or french cities where leveled with bombs in 39 and 40, he didn't gave a single fuck about Concentration Camps being set up, about murdering russian civilians in "Fall Barbarossa" or Einstazgruppen activity on conquered land.
If Third Reich would have won the war he would be in the first row to shake Hitler's hand and congratulate him .
So f u man.

@Canaris3 You should read a little about the real story and not judge after you just watched this movie.I am related to Claus von Stauffenberg and can tell you one thing, this man did everything within his power to stop Hitler and not just for Germany but because he couldn't stand to see how many people were getting killed for no reason what so ever.He gave his life,so yes I do consider him a martyr and a hero!I don't think you would have had the balls to do what he did,so show a little respect!

My Mother who was from Holland, was tortured by Hitlers' nazi. But it was a nazi Oficer who helped her escape, If he had not done that, I would not be here now. It was a very long time ago. Forget hatred and just learn the lessons. Be kind to each other :) Help us have a better world to live in. Lose the hatred of the past....It is the past!! just learn :)

This was a wonderful wonderful film. And I don’t say that lightly. It made my heart dance to know that there were some good germans whom where so deeply reevaluated by this man, and the entire Nazi regime. I had no idea of the facts, I really wished I would of known. I was never much of a fan of Tom Cruise, but my goodness What wonderful work. My only wish was that the one of many attempts works. Imagine all the lives on both sides it would of saved. They don’t make movies like this any

@eddings33 Ironically, this well-known fact is not known by most Americans.
It is a well known fact that the average US-American hardly knows where to find Germany on a map but definitely knows that Germany began two world wars and murdered 6 million Jews...
