Another amazing show from this run! The playing and singing are top notch and everything is concentrated on the music. No Quarter is amazing with great improvisations and the acoustic section is long and spontaneous, with That's Alright Mama being dropped in complete with a slide guitar solo! Jimmy's solo is great and long, with several unusual sections that sound exciting and build the tension before Achilles Last Stand blows it all apart. A great solo and jam section in Stairway To Heaven and a rocking and excellent encore of It'll Be Me close one of the best 1977 shows ever.

I was at this show at the LA Forum. I was 17 and we had 3rd row seats! It was amazing!! The one thing i've always wanted to know was the last song they finished the night with "I'tll Be Me"??
I remember Robert Plant announcing something about doing a new song
but i never could find out the story behind the song?

I attended the Zep show @ the LA Forum 6/26/77. I sat front row, still have pictures to prove it, best concert i ever attended. In retrospect, it is still amazing how awesome given what was going @ the time including the booze, drugs, road show etc. I was 3 weeks shy of 14. Truly a dream come true for a die hard fan. while iwish i was going to see the 12/10/07 show, I hope fans who never got the chance will be ablt to attend. Led Zeppelin truly is the greatest rock band of all time

  • @Conneyfogle JPJ wasnt on bass in TSRTS

  • I am so glad Conneyfogle you posted this. I was at this concert in Inglewood. It was pretty wild, but fun. Sat up to the left of the stage in a second teir second row. I don't remember much, it was 33 years ago I was 17. I remember sneaking joints in my bra. I also remember what the band was wearing, but I do not remember the set list, which you posted in the video, Thanks for that. I have seen other videos here with this concert, It is so great to see them.

  • You can really hear the power of Bonhams drums in this song

  • @Conneyfogle yeah the bass is why i never considered tsrts but you are right its definitely stairway.

he is using the synthesiser for the recorder at the start of the song or its his piano
