Mishandeling zwarte Antilliaanse poët door blanke agenten afkeurenswaardig Verontrust en met gevoel van boosheid is door ons kabinet kennis genomen van de youtube film waarop onze theaterwetenschapper en dichter, Quincy Gario, door meer dan vier blanke agenten hardhandig werd toegetakeld. Quincy Gario stond bij de intocht van Sinterklaas in Dordrecht met zijn alom bekende t-shirt met de opschrift: "zwarte piet is racisme". Een skinheadachtig kaalgeschoren agent samen met andere collega's hebben gemeend de pacifistische Quincy Gario te moeten aanhouden. Op de beelden valt te zien dat deze agenten Quincy Gario daarbij hebben geschopt en grovelijk vernederd terwijl Quincy desolaat nog riep niets verkeerds te hebben gedaan. De handelswijze van deze blanke agenten doet vermoeden dat kennelijk een diepgewortelde motief die herleidbaar is tot racisme, daar ten grondslag ligt. Dit soort gedrag waar dienders die aangesteld zijn om ons allen te beschermen, menen zich boven de grondwet te kunnen begeven, moet ten volle worden bestreden. Het fundamentele recht van burgers op vrijheid van meningsuiting en het erkend recht tot vergaderen en betoging verdienen te worden gerespecteerd. De overheid, waaronder de politieagent, moet hiervoor garant staan. Dat zwarte Piet racisme vertegenwoordigt, zoals gesteld door Quincy Gario, is niet opmerkelijk. Dit geldt zeker wanneer bedacht wordt dat zwarte Piet of de zwarte Peter een ander naam was voor de duivel. Later kreeg die zwarte Peter de uiterlijke kenmerken van de negroïde man en een Surinaams/Antilliaans accent. Quincy Gario wil dit laatste bespreekbaar maken en heeft een gedicht hierover geschreven. De mishandeling van Quincy Gario is klap in het ongeschminkt gezicht van onze zwarte kustenaars. Onacceptabel. Het wordt tijd dat Nederland bescherming biedt aan minderheden ongeacht godsdienst, levensovertuiging, politieke gezindheid, ras of geslacht.

@mennuku what makes a valid point valid?.At least when the opposite is open, willing & able to listen to what the other is, have or want to say!.Then it would be valid!.It doesnt mean that you have to agree or follow it but then at east you'll show interest in how other people feel about actions of others..just as in the case: The Zwarte Piet Issue.Jezus wanted to make changes look what happened to him..he got crucified.Nobody cant change anything cuz change will come & reveal itself by itself.

and don't tell me it offensive or whatever because then you would just have to change everything in the world with the color black or white or even yellow or whatever.

@mennuku everybody can misinterpret, making problems on everythang and anythang or missing point. I really do want to believe that it wasn't meant to be disrespectful but if there so many people are pinpointing it as a issue and the Dutch wont even take time to listen or reconsider!....but instead let the Devil Advocate take this case to justify it!?.....Than I prefer not to believe. And I am not missing any points,....Contraries!!!

Not everyone has problems but you make it a problem. I can make a problem of everything with words it's to easy. Again zwarte piet is not intended to be offensive or disrispectful while all the things you just mentioned are..... clearly missing the point.

@mennuku Vampires can be from any race..once bitten everybody can turn into a vampire in a vampire story..theres no caricature whatsoever in it. But I noticed that everybody that has a 'Problem' are always in denial & think solemnly that they aren't doing anything wrong. Junks do it..Alcoholism..Sex maniacs..Racist...Anoretic..bu­t also in some Tradition; Homosexual hangings..circumcising of little girls..Ku Klux Klan..& finally Zwarte Piet!..They all solemnly swear they aint doing nothing wrong!

@100storys No they are not. Again it's just a way of interpretation and not a Parody or Caricature of another race. It never was but you just can't see otherwise That's really racist imo. So i should think vampires are offensive also for being white? It's just stupid.

I'm curious if I posted a question about this Zwarte Piet Issue to Ophra what would she say!!. But anyway.....Afro-Dutch people: as you can see the Disrespect will continue so please educate yourselfs and stop celebrating Sinterklaas just because of the Degrading Zwarte Piet Character. They will never acknowledge, reconsider, accept that there is something wrong with it.

@kontekijke check this out!!..how manny 'Nederlanders' do you see on this clip and all the other videoclips thats about Zwarte Piet?. They are all Nederlanders right?..."flaming about Nederlanders'?..And about the "one sided"..or short minded..or just playing Dumb: If someone dont have the ability to understand that Nobody can go down the Chimney and come out as a Disrespecting Caricature of a Black Person!?....what do we call this person: A "One Sided" ( as you call it ) or a Camouflage Racist?

@mennuku I am sure that they dont want to be all those things but lets be real..they are!. People going through a chimney and coming out as a Parody or Caricature of another Race is 100% Disrespectful. If they came back out as recognizable White chimney workers there wouldn't be no problem. These are 2 different things & you know this..so keep your reverse psychology to yourself..( lol). And why the hell would Black people wants White's to be Offensive to them?...this is ridiculous and absurd
