I have a english bulldog but she doesnt realize shes wearing her lifejacket so she flips out and goes all bezeirk trying to catch up with my older golden retreiver who is a great swimmer. Its hilarious :)

always teach your bulldogs where the steps are ...........just as a precaution. Most of them can swim, but they can't get out. Our bulldog LOVED the water and would dive in recklessly, anywhere, any time.

I have had 6 bulldogs and 4 could swim without a life jacket. I always make sure they wear a life jacket when on the boat or on a dock because if the fall in they probably will just sink. However, I don't teach mine using a life jacket because then they think they can swim when they can't.

My Georgie swims with a best too although he prefers to float versus swim of course lol
