@Aggiesgigsm well idk bout the belt fed idea,but a shorter barrel and an RIS system and scope mount and id take it over an AR15 any day. :D

Instead of heavy wood use plastics, make it belt fed, put it back in service.

nope, I assume it was because it had been used for a few hours, prolly not lubed enough and it was hot and dusty.. it did OK for it's age, lol
