For the past five years, First Unitarian Church in Rochester, New York has developed an amazing holiday tradition. Members tally up their planned holiday spending and then give half of that amount to the church. The children then decide what local and international charities the money will support. Over the years, this remarkable project has given a whole new meaning to the holidays for hundreds of Unitarian Universalist families and for the people they help.

  • This is so wonderful. My family is still new to UU and I always find another reason why I love UU and the people who attend church with my family. This is just another one. Thank you for helping bring more meaning to our holiday season.
