the lyrics of this song proves that Watanuki and Yuko's relation is more than just mentor and disciple rather more as a couple. The lyrics completely described Watanuki's love for Yuuko after she disappears "To leave without holding your hand could be more saddening to me"

This is my favorite song.

I just love it. It made me cry when I wanted to cry, it made me happy when I wished I was happy, it calmed me down when I was feeling upset... I never watched Honey and Clover, or xxxHolic, I just stumbled across this song.

The song really fits Watanuki and Yuko's relation with each other. The lyrics also tells that the relationship between them is deeply entwined with the other, not emphasizing on the lover relationship but more of a benefactor or guide like Dante and Virgil (if anyone read the Divine Comedy). "To leave without holding your hand could be more saddening to me" can be interpreted as the "love" of Watanuki towards Yuko in a sense that like a mother figure to him died. It's only my interpretation. :)

@applestarism I think it's more the episode "Last Part" in Shunmuki where Watanuki promises to grant Yuko's wish and Watanuki's extreme change taking on Yuko's personality and outfits in Ro that seem to say something more though. Cause he's afraid of forgetting her like everyone that Yuko's helped except Domeki, Himawari, and the girl that can see ghost.

@sheika87 i don't think it's a douXwata moment... in the lastest chapters of the manga, doumeki *SPOILER SPOILER* is dead... watanuki's been in the store too long and the doumeki that started out in the series is replaced by like his grandson or something like that... somehow the doumeki line must really like looking the same...

@sport3888 I'm kind of confused when i was watching XXXHolic I didn't really see any love connection between WAtanuki and Yuuko. Does something happen in Rou or Kei that proves they have a love connection? I wasn't able to watch those parts yet. Can someone plz explain? Or is this just a WataXYuuko fan moment? LoL
