@mpetrie Being outside your "faith" and having no loyalty to it makes me more objective, yes. And Bonneville is the media arm of the Mormon Church. I edited the cassette versions of the BOM, the D$C, the Missionary guide, and every general conference for a decade, which meant I had access to not only those publications, but several high ranking members of the church. So yeah, it made me more knowledgable than you. Sorry. Them's the facts.

@mpetrie Only Smith claimed to see the "angel" and of the 13 people who claimed to see the plates, 11 recanted later. I lived in SLC for 16 years and worked for Bonneville Communications.  I know more about your history than you do. Give up.

@mpetrie I guess you have to go with what your "church" told you. I'll stick with the truth. JS WAS convicted as a con artist and told to find gainful employment or go to prison. So he conveniently met an "angel" who gave him "golden plates" only HE could translate, even though he was barely literate himself. And yes, I debunk ALL religions since they ALL are based on MYTH. You don't know the locations because they DON'T EXIST. Neither do the people. IT'S A MYTH.

@Mozart1220 Need to do some more research. Joseph was NEVER convicted of anything. He was arrested on false charges and was never found guilty. Show me the court documents showing he was convicted. As for evidence of God, that would be applied to "debunking" ALL religions, not just Mormons. As for the BoM, we don't know the precise location of the events because the land described in the BoM takes place in South/Central America and the ancient history of these lands is still a work in progress.

@mpetrie Well, to start with, Joseph Smith was a convicted con artist. That's a clue. Second, there is no evidence whatsoever that ANY God exists. Third, there is no evidence that anything in the BOM actually happened.
