Hal McGee recorded in performance at Laboratory Music #1 solo minimalist free improvisation festival, Saturday, July 10, 2010, at The Laboratory, 818 W. University Avenue, Gainesville, Florida. Filmed by Christopher Miller. Hal McGee (of Gainesville, Florida) was one of 31 improvisers in a seven hour program. All improvisers were limited to a nine minute time frame and all improvisers had to play through the same mini-mixer and two 10-watt amplifiers (or acoustically). The Laboratory Music #1 festival was produced by Hal McGee, in association with 355 Noise.
If all those chattering people would close their cake holes and listen, this would be better. Hal is the king of noise, these people need to show him the proper respect.

There needs to be a proper free-improv setting in central florida where people learn to shut up and actually listen... Im sick of college bars and morons who don't know when to shut up.

Hal McGee at it again. This guy is a one man noise army! Always great to see what's going down in the improv/noise capital of the United States. I'm moving down to the Tampa area later this summer and I can't wait to get involved!!!!!!! Keep doing it Gainesville!
