Oxford, Ohio - Miami University. Park on corner of Earhart Road facing Oxford Milford Rd. There are plenty of "Do not park" signs. So obviously they're there to discourage people to try this. If you do flash your lights 3 times with you car turned off.

May I remind you, this sounds easy. But when you start driving out there - it's in a very quiet and dark country road. Turning your car off for about 10-15 minutes in a pitch black country road with surrounding forest and old farming fields is not as easy as it sounds.

Anyway, this video is taken with a digital camera video record. This is crazy cool though.

Here is all I know:
I'm for-sure we saw a freaky looking light that did not look like a car light. A different design than that. Almost magic how it just appeared and how bright it was. Brighter than a car light would be. It's hard to tell on this resolution though. We first saw a red light, a white bright light, then a quick red light. The last light was not caught on camera. You notice the light when it gets close even reflects off my car hood/window. I regret not staying longer. Next time I will.

So here is the story, Brad and I went to a haunted road near Miami Oxford's Campus in Ohio. The story is that a guy and a girl used to date, and the girl's parents didn't approve. She would sneak out at night and go to the bottom of his street and flash her brights in her car. He would see it from the top of the street, and drive down on his motorcycle to meet up with her. There are three rather large hills on the street, and one night, while going down to meet up with the girl, the boyfriend went down one of the hills and hit a kid riding his bike, killing them both. Now, if you go to the street and flash your brights at the bottom of the street, you can see the boyfriend and his one single light from the motorcycle coming towards you. Some people see a red light at the beginning and/or at the end (some speculate it could be reflectors from either bikes) Apparently the girl hung her self days later in front of the barn you park in front of (which is currently torn down).

Two freaky things I've heard, but could be lies:

1. I've heard the young boy will eventually come up to the car with a mad look on his face. (I would park there for at least a few more minutes after light leaves).

2. Also heard if you look behind your car you can see the girl hanging from the tree. (sounds a little bogus)

This part is true though- people drive and chase the light and it will just vanish - in case you try doing that. Also, apparently you can hear the motorcycle too and/or you can feel a cold chill in the car.

This ghost sighting is over 30 years old, if anyone has any old achieves of it- let me know.

Hi, I posted this video. In response to some of the comments. No, this is not scripted, haha. 9 out of 10 this will work. Also, if you drive towards it the light will just vanish, it's not some hillbilly in his truck....every time! think about it. I've heard different theories on what people think it is, so i once just thought it was a car from a far far distance.

But then one night I went up to where i thought it vanished and a flash (like a camera) shot infront of my car - I was with a friend. If doubters dont want to believe fine, but I also suggest not to do it unless you can fend for yourself, because Cops told me drug addicts sit out there in the dark and will rob you at gun point for money - whether that's true or not I have no idea, but not worth it anymore for me. Just looking out for anyone is all.

also search, "paulding light" it's in the UP of Michigan, it seems to be somewhat the same thing (whether you think it's paranormal or not)

Hay man I live in Trenton, and me and my buddies have been out there 3 times, and everytime we go we get pulled over by a cop sitting back in one of the drive ways. So be carefull.

Be on gaurd as there has been much vandalism on this road and the people who live there are not the least bit happy to have you there. As a matter of fact my grandmother (yes, my grandma) and I were out there with another friend not too long ago trying this and a police officer came out of NOWHERE. He was parked in a corn field around a very sharp curve. Please be careful, a few years ago a farmer shot at a car full of college students looking for the light. Thankfully no one was injured.

i did this with a bunch of friends and ddude it works!! we saw the light commin then these red lights cut it off and the light vanished then we watched the red lights then bout 2 mins later they were gone... il try to get a vid next time i go

There waz 4 of us in a car.We did the 3 light flick saw the light.We take off after it go past the 4 way intersection and I swear a baby blue colured motor cyclel with a image of someone on it no engine sound whent by us.We turned around and soon as it it the 4 way it waz gone.4 of us that nite were going crazy.The colur of it waz a kinda glowing blue.Wow!!!

I went there last night with my friends and it worked, took a few tries but it eventually worked, fready, the lights very very bright and its moving fast and it just disappears once it gets down the hill

I've heard about these ghost lights before. There's one in North or South Carolina, one in Upper Michigan and of course this one. I really wonder what causes them.

why dont you guys drive up to the light and see what it is, or better yet cant you go hide in the woods and check it out, or does it only appear when it see your headlites, someone pleese fill me in cuz this could be worth a roadtrip!
