  • all I can say is mmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm good LAWRD mmmm mmmm mmm mmmmm

  • Interesting, Pat Metheny Group paying tribute to Keith Jarrett's European Quartet...

  • @benoncambie there's even a little feedback squeal at 4:29. If it wasn't Metheny, we'd hardly even notice... :·}

  • How can you play this many notes and not make a mistake once in a while? Some mistakes go unnoticed and blend well enough, other are pretty obvious. In communications we have this thing called bit error rate which is a ratio of the number or bit errors divided by the total number of bits sent.. I'm guessing Pat's BER is extremely low, given his high baud rate. It was funny how he looked that moment right after the sour note. Like.. "Yea, my bad... now back to business guys" LOL

  • Surprisingly few views of this gem...

  • Love the subtle references to Windup in the solo

  • I like how he played it off in the next few bars.

  • First time I've ever seen him with his hair "neat". Mike Stern's twin? I'm wondering. Mistakes aside, still sounds like God to me!

  • holy shit. did metheny actually make a huge clam at 3:42? Even god makes mistakes i guess
