@sandrodream1 What you say is true, but you have to keep in mind what most of the American gastronomy is like. I lived in the USA for more than five years and it was really hard to find a decent restaurant. Most of the places you can have dinner at are crap. Carrabas is one of the few places where even as a European you can expect to get an enjoyable meal. For America that is quite something.

@jsmoritz2000, I can assure you not all Carrabba's is like the one you went to. Unfortunately, you picked a bad one. I work at Carrabba's in Las Vegas and we do our upmost to put the customer first. Believe me when I say everything is in the customer's best interest.

I work there,
the pasta isn't made from scratch daily. the fettuccine and lasagna comes in fresh. But the other pasta isn't. Other then that though all the soups and sauces are made from scratch. Everything isn't made daily only stuff that loses its freshness or taste is daily like zucchini sticks, mozzarella marinara and all our knife work. The soups, dressings and some sauces taste better the 2nd and 3rd day.
It's quality product and good recipes. If it tastes bad someone made it wrong.

We just spent 4 days vacationing in Siesta Key, Florida and ate for the first (and certainly the last) time EVER at Carrabbas. As if the service wasn't bad enough...the food was TERRIBLE...I mean THE WORST ITALIAN FOOD I HAVE EVER HAD. The waiter made sure to tell us that every thing is made fresh from scratch every day...this is supposed to be their big selling point. But even if it was prepared by hand that morning, it still tasted like garbage...but then so does most food in Florida.

carrabas is NOT fast food. fresh pasta homemade everything, high quality homemade food is what you get at carraba's. you must be thinking of olive garden.
