The recording was a hurried attempt at 2 am--studio was completely disassembled. I've since recorded these through a cranked tube head and uploaded to Sound click.

Sorry for the solid state, low watt rwcording--was just trying to let everyone at the time, know that new Vai pickups were coming out soon.

If you'd actually listen to the whole review--I run every switch position through a clean channel, too. Don't just watch the first 2 minutes then stop to comment--it's all there. Why do I need to compare these to another guitar? This review is of the Gravity Storm set and how they sound--not other models. There are plenty of reviews of other pickups if you need to hear those, but there's really no point. Too many models of pickups on the market.
