I want to learn Swedish!!

I'm a dork...sorry...Swedish people: pronunciation help? What sounds wrong to you?

In the beginning: "Våra förfäder rår."

You pronounce the Förfäder bit wrong. The ÖÖÖÖÖ needs to sound more in the beginning, now you have it as "A" so its off a bit.

Then: "Och de följer vart vi går. De följer din väg lilla vän. "

You nail the first "följer," its spot on, but the second one is again a bit "faljer," not enough ÖÖÖ there. But I´m really streching here, you sound really Swedish allready.

And might be that native Swedes tell me to sod off when they read this :)

@bary1234 Haha thank you so much for the advice!!! I have SUCH a hard time with the 'ö' sound. Actually at first I could barely hear a difference between 'ö' and 'å'.

Also by the way...I've never studied Swedish...I'm just trying to copy the singer haha. But I want to learn so bad! :)

@CeilingofStars : Yeah, I´m sure those ÖÖÖ:s and ÄÄÄ:s of Scandinavia are super weird and difficult to learn.

Its cool that you want to learn that :) Are you going to need that song somewhere, or Swedish language?

@bary1234 Haha...naw, probably not. But I really want to go to Sweden. I'm trying to au pair there at some point. I just love languages in general. I speak several, to varying levels of fluency. You're Finnish, right? My dad randomly told me last night he thinks I should consider Finland instead of Sweden...haha...maybe someday, but I've got my heart set. ^^
