Hey look people Dennis isn't coming back!! Get the fxxk over yourselves..Gowan breathes new life into the Deyoung songs..and if you haven't seen Styx lately keep your cumdumpsters closed..I saw them With Deyoung in 96 and they were good but they were 10 times better recently!

THIS is Heavy STYX.! sounds GOOD..!!
AS A KID many many years ago~ I ALWAYS loved the heavier side of STYX. in the 80s they went kinda DDY's way and I got severly disinterested. Kinda let down.
seen em 23 times.. twice last year.! Love DDY ..and still am OK with the NEW STYX. Just wish men would be men ....and just move on... for OUR (the FANS) sake. !

Styx without Dennis DeYoung is like Journey without Steve Perry, Boston without Brad Delp, or Queen without Freddie Mercury. It's not the same. I understand why they split, and really I can't say I blame them for booting DeYoung. Still listening to them now is like eating a peanut butter and jelly sandwich without the jelly. I think they should concentrate on writing great new songs and putting out a first rate new album. Cyclorama was half baked, and I've been a big Styx fan since 1978.

I love Styx as they are today, but I do feel weird when they sing Dennis' songs. Tommy and James have enough great songs themselves. I'd rather hear something from Brave New World, or Cyclorama than this.

To me the current lineup of Styx sounds tired, and nothing like the classic era of the band, which is my favorite, the whole reason I'm a Styx fan is that era. I am glad they don't perform the full song of Mr. Roboto it would be ruined. Let me put it to you this way, if both Styx and Dennis Deyoung were performing on the same day and in the same city, I would go see Dennis Deyoung, hands down.
