Im a middle school bassoon player and i wanted to ask you if u can play a song called Ruby i dont know the composer but i cant seem to find it anywhere. This is my synphonic band audition. I really want to continue playing bassoon but i just cant find a video on this song. I can tell u the first couple of measures are mid-high notes just coming off the staff in key of Bb. The first four measures are a rest and fifth measure has the notes of A,A,A,C and sixth is Bb,A,G.

Didn't you screw up your reed with the lipstick? Ha, the bass clarinet I used to sit next to always had a red line on her reed...

haha, no actually. I purposefully shot the scenes with my lipstick on after I played "womanizer". Otherwise it DEFINITELY would have messed up my reed!

NO Offense.
But the Bassoon was not made to play freakin Britney Spear.
Its was made to play stuff that is actually meaningful. Bach,Weber,Braun,Etc.....
