In 1980, the Eagles broke up the band and vowed never to play again. When asked through the following years about when the band is getting back together and playing again, Don Henley would laugh and reply, "When hell freezes over". 14 years later in1994, they got back together to make an album and play a reunion tour. They named both the album and the tour "Hell Freezes Over".
