On this week's episode of Make Me a Millionaire, 12 lucky contestants were awarded a total of $137,000 in cash and prizes.
Ross King of Spring Valley, Ruben Rodriguez of El Monte and Frank Johnson of Culver City all came up winners on the Lucky Penny segment. Lucky Penny winners have the option of taking the cash equivalent of the car and all three contestants chose the cash.
King, a construction manager, won his way onto the show by submitting his Fantasy 5 coupons into the Lottery's Second Chance Draw. King is a Fantasy 5 group player and plans to split the prize money amongst his friends. The group is contemplating using the money to go on a cruise or throw a celebratory party.
Rodriguez, a painter, plans to use his money to help send his kids to college. Johnson, a sales representative, wants to purchase a BMW.
With the Make Me a Millionaire progressive jackpot increasing $200,000 each week, next week's Millionaire game contestant will have a chance to win $2.4 million.
