  • nice instruction, very clear and helpful. Just one thing, I don't think it is at all unconventional, to change your own oil. I'm not a fan of paying someone to work on my vehicles though.

  • @96driver thank you i say unconventional way for reasons one will picko n you did not torqe or typed wrong. if one learned, from the clip. it is the best feeling in the world. and tht is all that matters. sharing , showing and caring.

  • Thanks for the video. I'm with MegaVanfan. New to the filter cartridge change game. The manual says 5W-20 or 0W-20 will work. However, I've only been able to find the 0W-20 in a full synthetic. Anyhow, after the ToyotaCare service period expires I'll likely go with a synthetic 0W-20 and 10K between oil changes. The wife racks up the miles pretty fast. Fram has XG 10K filters, but none for this puny little cartridge filter. Sigh, it looks like I'll be stuck changing this filter every 5K.

  • @Skeeball10 Every 10K we do its a leased, if it was not I change with respect a little earlier. for the paper filter costing not muc. I wonder one day will tehy enforce a cut off to gain access to the filter, and not let the oil flow, when you open her up to replace, allowing filter only changes

  • Thanks for video... now feel confident in tackling job... Filter cartridges all new to me!!!

  • @MegaVanfan first time is not easy we overlook things, take the time it becomes easier

  • Thanks dude. Saved me time

  • @SuperSpokaneMan thank you

  • @Texan4Life706 it replicates a metal filter?

  • worst place ever... should have had a spin on IMO

  • @MrPraxair "0w" anything is synthetic. Conventional oil cant go that thin.

  • That's a sweet, helpful video. My brother Doug will rest easier knowing how to change this filter out in his awesome 2012 Corolla. I can't believe I found this, somebody must be watching over me.
