First half of the opening title track from Dorham's "Una Mas" album. Recorded at the Van Gelder Studio, Englewood Cliffs, New Jersey on April 1, 1963. Originally released on Blue Note (4127).
Kenny Dorham (trumpet); Joe Henderson (tenor saxophone); Herbie Hancock (piano); Butch Warren (bass); Tony Williams (drums).

You can't listen to this and NOT be in a great mood afterword.One of the happiest things ever recorded.KD was one of the greats!!

Love this tune! A real hard-bop anthem, and stretched-out nicely here, w/plenty of room for everyone to have his say. Very well-swung!!!
Oh, BTW - some translation nitpicking: "Una Mas" just means "One More"(not as translated on the LP cover). One More TIME would be translated as "Una Vez Mas".
Anyhow, thanks for the LP!

As "Una Mas" just means "One More", and not "One More Time", in portuguese, "Una Mas" just means "Mais Uma" and not " Mais Uma Vez". Thanks for the comment, David.
