A demo of the Oberheim OBXa in unison mode. Starts with a solo with some external delay and reverb added then again with the addition of some Boss Chorus, Phaser & Flanger.

  • Is that your Synthex above the OB-Xa?

  • Yep, that's right. The OB-Xa has gone now though....

  • the sound is alright but what im loving is the melody your playing there. is that from a track or did you freestyle?

  • Cheers, just made up as I went along... !

  • Hi, I'm lucky to have solid brick walls and so they're securely screwed into the brick. Not sure plasterboard faced walls on timber studs will be strong enough for weight of several keyboards unless you made sure they were screwed into and through the studs to the solid wall beyond...?

  • @JMPSynth hi,regarding the shelving, did you simply attach them to the plasterboard or did you need to locate the internal studding? i'd appreciate any info on this as im thinking of using the same method to house 6 synths but am a little worried about the outcome! thanks

  • Great Sounds, thanks ...

  • man it's amazing how all the vintage synthesizers sound completely better than the newer ones.

  • Those sounds were awesome, very nice keyboard.

  • finally a real solo on a classic synth!
