Indian Railways..Early Morning Crossing & Parallel action. On-board WCG-2 hauled Mahalaxmi express

1) KYN WCG-2 # 20156 hauled 1012 KOP-CSTM Mahalaxmi Express in which I was traveling makes a roaring early morning departure from platform no 7 of Kalyan station after getting a green signal to proceed ahead of the stationery Pune WDG-3A # 13560 hauled 7058 SC-CSTM Devagiri express, which has a rake sharing arrangement (RSA) with 2709/10 Simhapuri express.. As we were clearing the points, our train was greeted by a KYN WCAM-3 hauled 1021 Pune bound Indrayani express followed by a parallel action with a CSTM bound DC EMU, which overtook us with utmost ease.

2) In no time, WCG-2 seeked it's revenge by showing it's aggression as we overtook the same DC EMU at Thakurli station

yeah..though it is exactly the reverse on many occasions, esp when a late running express train enters Mumbai during peak hr (suburban traffic), it may be detained on the available platform at thane station & sometimes at Diva & Dadar as well.
