Al Urmawi center in Alexandria Egypt organized a music workshop for advanced music students (master class). The participants of the workshop are from Egypt, Lebanon, Palestine and Jordan. In this multi cultural event Los Angeles based Lian ensemble's Houman Pourmehdi, Mahshid Mirzadeh and Pirayeh Pourafar conducted lectures and demonstration representing Persian music.
