  • No problems at all. although, theres a rubber seal around the casing which has come off. but thats not really important. Wouldnt have been able to do it unless you didnt upload this video. so thanks!

  • Mmmm... that hint about being careful with the home button connectors would have been really good higher up in the video :-( Is the connector repairable?

  • my iphone 3g's lower half of the touch screen is unresponsive. restoring with itunes and hard resetting it does not fix the problem. should i buy a new digitizer? thanks!

  • great help thanx for your time much appriciated

  • What about the film on the inside? does that come off ?

  • Great tutorial. Only problem I have is now my screens sensitivity is all messed up. Like it takes seven tries to unlock my screen and some if the buttons on my keyboard don't work when I press them. Help?

  • ok all im getting back ios a white screen wtf do i dooooooooo

  • Is there any thing else I can use when I get the step of gluing the frame to the new screen?? Because I don't have the sticky adhesive stuff

  • These instructions worked out perfectly, thanks a lot! My old screen had tons of cracks in the digitizer, so I just forced it apart from the steel frame; I didn't need the hair dryer step (though it probably would have been a lot less messy if I had one!).

  • Worked great for me. Hardest part is clearing out shattered glass over the adhesive area.
