Jointly Estimating Demographics and Height with a Calibrated Camera

Using a calibrated camera, we estimate height, age and gender in real-time. This video illustrates the demo we are submitting to the ICCV Demo Session.

This demo corresponds to our paper #457 (with submitted title "Measuring Demographics and Height with a Calibrated Camera") that has been accepted as a poster at ICCV. We want to demonstrate the capability our work in a live and interactive session.

A face is detected and facial features are found. Then, two numbers are shown above the face. The first is height (in English units of feet and inches), and the second number is distance from the camera (again in feet and inches).

For showing the gender prediction, the color of the facial features is blue for male, pink for female. For showing the age prediction, a horizontal segmented bar is shown beneath the face. The number of blocks shows the age category estimate: Years
