Just before closeup of Michael’s foot on brake, KITT approaches a fork in the road. A branch to the left takes them to the skimpily-clad bikini babes. What would have happened had they forked right? The unpaved dirt road reminds how much "Knight Rider" was an all-terrain series. Similarly, Michael Long was shot and left for dead along a dark, desolate path in the series' two-hour pilot, "Knight of the Phoenix". "If we fail to make the turn that's right, we must learn to live with what is left."
